Before and After School Program

Heavenly Place provides a loving and safe environment for our children that attend the before and after school program. This program provides services to children that attend most Liberty County Schools. Services include drop off and pickup of children on a daily basis. Once the children arrive at Heavenly Place, they are greeted by staff members and are served a hot nutritious meal that has been prepared according to U.S.D.A. guidelines. Children are taken to their designated age groups by their assigned childcare provider in preparation for homework and study time. After homework is completed the children engage in fun activities provided by the childcare faculty.

When weather permits, children have outside time. At the end of the day they have an opportunity to participate in a group Praise and Worship session. Full day activities when school is not in session would include all day activities for the children such as crafts, games, and competition games.  Most of their activities are geared towards education while still having fun. Depending on the time the children are out of school they have an opportunity to enjoy several field trips. Friday is, “Fun Day.”  Children get to watch a movie on a big screen television and have popcorn along with other organized activities for the entire day.

Summer Enrichment

The Summer Enrichment program at Heavenly Place is designed to give our children a relaxing and nurturing atmosphere during the summer. The children attend several fun activities that include bowling, skating, museums, bike riding, and water parks.  These are just a few of the daily field trips that they get enjoy. They also are provided three nutritious meals a day and 2 snacks. Children attend several educational field trips during the summer that reinforce education skills. They have an opportunity to learn while having fun during the summer season. Parents can feel free to enroll their children during the summer at Heavenly Place Childcare Learning Center and take advantage of the great activities that this program offers.
